We assist local governments in all aspects of land use regulation, including litigation.  Our experience includes drafting planning and zoning regulations, subdivision regulations, and unified development ordinances.  As the appointed city attorney for numerous cities, we regularly and frequently advise the governing bodies, Planning and Zoning Commissions, Boards of Adjustment and city staff on an on-going basis with respect to all types of land use matters. As a part of the land use process, we have helped municipalities develop innovative solutions for financing the public infrastructure necessary for development and redevelopment.  We have also provided training and educational sessions for numerous boards and commissions and for organizations such as the Missouri Municipal League and Mid America Regional Council. We currently serve as designated Land Use Counsel for Midwest Public Risk’s Land Use Pre-Litigation Consultation Program.
