Our firm was established in 2005 for the express purpose of and is devoted to the representation of municipalities and other local government entities. The firm currently represents numerous local government entities ranging from villages to some of the largest cities in Missouri. We serve in an appointed city attorney or general counsel role as well as special counsel for a wide variety of matters including litigation, general municipal, municipal finance, land use and development, infrastructure financing, public works construction projects, and the use of economic development incentives.
All of the attorneys at our firm have devoted their legal careers to representation of cities and local governments. We provide our clients with a full range of legal services. Our approach is to work interactively with and to maintain a close working relationship with staff and elected and appointed officials. We view ourselves as a member of the team while maintaining our role to ensure compliance with all applicable laws. Our goal is to always provide a cost-effective, timely and quality work-product. Because we work with so many cities and local government entities, we are able to help our clients proactively identify legal issues and craft appropriate responses and solutions taking into account our experiences with the other cities and entities. This results in an efficient process that we believe uniquely benefits our clients. That is why we are proud to describe what we do as “providing legal solutions for local governments.”
